WHAT IS THE JET TRANSITION COURSE?

Most pilots leave flight school with strong stick-and-rudder skills, but little exposure to the knowledge and procedures required to transition into jet aviation. Our Jet Transition Course bridges that gap by introducing pilots to the systems, operations, and professional standards expected in turbine aircraft environments.

What Students Learn

❋ High-altitude & high-speed aerodynamics

Jet aircraft systems

Automation & FMS / ProLine 21

Crew Resource Management (CRM)

Professional jet cockpit procedures

Guidance on breaking into Part 91/135 / 121 operations

What Makes Us Different

At JTP, students don’t just learn about jets—they train in them. During the course, students fly a Citation 525 series jet, gaining hands-on experience in a: real jet cockpit environment.

❋ 1.01.5 hours flight time

❋ Left seat of a Citation CJ / CJ3

❋ In-aircraft cockpit procedures training

❋ Real-world operational scenarios

❋ Temporary CE-525 SIC certificate issued

WHY TRAIN WITH JTP?

Our program is unlike most. At JTP, we shortcut the traditional path and get you into jets faster. Instead of spending hours in a simulator, you'll train inside real jets, gaining hands-on experience in the environment you're actually working toward. Learning in the aircraft itself builds a level of confidence and understanding that simulators simply can't replicate.

You'll also train alongside a team that has been exactly where you are and has gone on to build successful careers in jet aviation. We're committed to passing on the practical knowledge, insight, and guidance that truly helps you get where you want to be
